We believe in products that respect people and the environment.
We’re proud to stock Behaviour Change Cornwall, Coulon Deigns, Disturbance in the West, Elvis and Kresse, Palava and Waterhaul. Here’s some more information about each:
“Transforming lost fishing nets and ocean plastic recovered from Cornwall’s coast.”
We are so proud to stock bracelets and necklaces from our young friends Behaviour Change Cornwall (BCC) who are based up-country in Looe!
They are on a mission to remove harmful fishing net that has been ‘abandoned’ in the sea around our coasts and transform them into bracelets and beads. Each piece comes with a card of authenticity telling you where the net was found and who recovered it from the sea.
When you buy a BCC bracelet or necklace you are buying a memento of the area and also supporting a programme of environmental education. Be part of this movement for positive change!

We love being retailers of Elvis & Kresse’s wonderful creations. For us they are a model of ethical entrepreneurship.
We stock a range of their bags, belts and purses.
E&K was established in 2005 to save London’s decommissioned fire hoses, ones that had become too damaged to repair and were going to landfill. E&K’s highly skilled craftspeople now work with 15 different reclaimed materials.
As well as producing beautiful products and being a BCert Corporation, 50% of the profits from the E&K Fire Hose range go to the Firefighters’ Charity. 50% of the profits from the Fire&Hide range go to Barefoot College International where Barefoot’s Solar Mamas initiative, trains rural women in Guatemala to become solar engineers. These women are then able to provide renewable power for their villages and help train the next generation.
When you buy from our E&K range you really have something to take home and treasure.

When we first saw the Palava collection of dresses and knitwear we wanted to buy everything! We were enchanted!
Here’s what Palava say about their company:
“Behind the colourful prints and joyful spirit of Palava lies a passion for sustainable manufacturing and we’ve been making conscious, mindful choices about our fabrics and production processes for many moons… working in an industry that is notoriously damaging to the environment, we are constantly learning (and re-learning!) about best practises.”
We stock a selection of Palava cardigans in the full size range – come in and try one on!
Here on the Cornish Riviera sunglasses are essential for eye health as well as for looking super cool!
Our friends Waterhaul are based in Newquay and make a range of sunglasses where the frames are made entirely from recycled ghost fishing gear. The frames have a lifelong warranty and you can read all about them on the Waterhaul website.
Do come in and try a pair. Each pair comes with a fold-up cork case. What’s not to like!
